It's Not Working

Well, it's still "Laboe time" here. We were hoping for a quick fix for the engine, but unfortunately, it's not happening.

After the new engine was approved two weeks ago, little seemed to be happening. The poor project management of the parties involved tested our patience to the limit. So we took matters into our own hands and called all the parties ourselves to get a clear picture of the situation.

The new engine is now on its way to Laboe! We have a meeting at the shipyard on Monday to schedule the installation. However, the yard is busy and some employees are still on vacation, so we have to anticipate a few more weeks of waiting.

We're already preparing for Zina having to stay here and for us to drive back home ourselves. Unfortunately, sailing the Baltic Sea any further this year isn't possible. But we've definitely gotten a taste for it! Despite this setback, the trip showed us how fantastic it is to be on the water here. We'll try again next year.
